ARTWORX Matters | Aspire
Year 11 students from James Meehan and Bankstown Girls High Schools were immersed in the art world as part of ARTWORX, an innovative educational program showcasing the diversity of artistic courses and professions available in the creative sector.
ARTWORX is an initiative of UNSW Art & Design with the involvement of ASPIRE and GLAM+.
ASPIRE visual arts students had the opportunity to speak with curators, artists and educators, visit galleries, view exhibitions and go behind the scenes in an art studio. With their HSC major art projects looming, ARTWORX provided inspiration in helping to developing their creative talent. A big thank you to Ailsa Weaver, Educational Special Projects Co-ordinator UNSW Art & Design and all involved who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm to showi the students that ARTWORX.
