Metro ASPIRE at ADFA | Aspire

ASPIRE joined forces with UNSW Canberra and ADFA (Australian Defence Force Academy) hosting an enthusiastic group of  regional and metro senior students over two separate days in Canberra.
A big thank you to ADFA staff FSGT Rogers who co-ordinated the event, Matt who ran the flight simulator session, Marty and Matt (a different Matt) who gave a presentation on UNSW Canberra.
Students were taken on a tour of both UNSW Canberra and ADFA's facilities as well as spending time at the Australian War Memorial, where our metro students had the privilege of being part of the closing ceremony and laying a wreath.
Everyone involved with the event was generous with their time and answering the many questions the students had about careers in the Forces.  Matt was particularly supportive of students trying to land their planes on a navy ship without falling off the edge!
It was a great eye-opening experience for our students to see the range of degrees and the opportunities available while combining studying at UNSW Canberra with military training at ADFA.
